Took a trip to Ocean City, Maryland
Back in August, my mom and I were getting ready to leave on a trip down to Ocean City, Maryland to meet with my sister and niece and nephews who are also going and then on the way down there. I ended up wanting to take down a three ring binder and lots of paper because I felt that I was going to work on a story to pass the time when there is nothing to do. The story I was thinking about writing on this time was the previous Lindsey story being rewritten a bit since I was respired by the Last Mimzy when I got it on DVD. On Saturday, the 18th, my mom and I were finally packed and left and went down to my sister's. I took a three ring binder and lots of paper, and I also got to take my stuffed Kane and Lindsey with a couple other plushies with me. When we got down to my sister's, she was loading stuff into my mom's vehicle and then we finally left a few hours later. After driving for a couple hours, we stopped at a restaurant to have lunch. Then after lunch, we continued on the way to Ocean City, Manyland. When we finally got there and unpacked into the apartment where we were going to be staying for the week, we soon ended up going up to the boardwalk either that Saturday or Sunday and at the boardwalk, I noticed that there is a Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum there with over 500 different unbeliable items that were said to be inside. We didn't get to go in there, but that was when I have later seen a girl rodent wearing pink stuffed toy prize at the water gun game where you had to make the things with the stuffed Care Bears on them go up. The girl rodent was for some reason something I wanted to win for myself.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen that day as we then went into the arcade for a while and while I was in the arcade, I saw fairy dolls up above there and wouldn't be able to get one since there were 3000 something tickets at the time. After the arcade, we left the boardwalk and went back to the apartment. Then on Monday, we got to go to the beach for a while and a collected some tiny shells, nothing larger than an inch unfortunately, which I got to bring them home with me. In the evenings is when I got time to write on my story, and on Tuesday we went to this state park so my niece and nephews could see the wild ponies and stuff there. I think it was called "Pony Island" or something. After that, is the night we went to another restaurant called "The Bonfire" to eat out for dinner. Then on Wednesday is the day that my brother in law decided to go to a golf course by himself to go golfing and it lead to an argument when he came back to the apartment with my sister over her doing nothing and he thinking he was getting the blame that she did nothing with the kids. And I ended up saying to them that at this rate, that they should pack everything up and go back to Pennsylvania to argue. They ended up laughing at my statement a bit saying that they should, but luckily that didn't happen as that is when I got to go back to the boardwalk again. When we got back to the boardwalk, we went over to the water gun game with all three kids, my sister and my brother in law, and my mom to play it. My mom ended up being the winner and since that there were seven people, it meant that she gets a large prize and thus it was the rodent girl in pink for me.

After we were on the boardwalk for a while, we went back to the apartment again. The next day, Thursday, we went to this western place called Frontier Town were the kids ended up with little deputy badges, like most other kids there, and I ended up finding some on the ground that I ended up picking up and taking with me. While there, we got to see a couple of pretend gun fights, and boy those guns are loud. There is also an Indian area, were there were Cherokee people here, and got to learn what the Cherokee word is for "Hello" and it is "O C O". There was also a rodeo there that we watched a bit. They have a mean bull there called "Western Sky" and they said that the reason it is called that is because when riders were bucked off it into the air, they could have sworn they have seen the western sky. After that, we ended up leaving Fronter Town for a bit, to only come back in for something that my sister wanted. Then we left for real back to the apartment for the last night. The next day is when my mom and I were packing stuff up, including the rodent plush wearing pink, the seashells, and the depute badges I still have in my other pair of shorts. After that, it was goodbye to the kids which was a bit saddening since I had fun with them all week, and we left Ocean City, Maryland. By the time we got home and unpacked, I was already feeling a bit depressed either from Post Trip Depression or from missing the kids already. Hopefully, I will still get to see those kids even though their school was starting the next week.

As for the rodent girl wearing pink plush, I got to take a picture of her at home which I have gotten online. This following picture is a picture of her and you can click on it for a larger picture.

There is an entry on her that I have made into the rodent club, and this is the URL for it which you can find a bit more information on it.
